Alan Fitzsimons passed away suddenly on the 10th day of August. He was the loving husband of Louise Fitzsimons (nee-Whitley). They were married in 1983 and enjoyed 36 years of companionship. Alan will be succeeded by his two sons Matthew and Michael.
Alan was born in a small English town called Warrington. In 1969, Alan decided to take a leap of faith by leaving the U.K. in search of a more prosperous future. He boarded a plane at the age of 22 years old with nothing more than a steadfast work ethic and a few hundred dollars in his pocket. Due to his unwavering persistence, Alan was able to turn his dream to reality. In January 2019, Alan celebrated his 50th anniversary in Canada along with countless other memories along the way. He will be painfully missed by all of his family in England and in Canada.
A memorial service will be held for Alan from 1-3 pm on Saturday August 17th at Forest Lawn Mausoleum located at 10 Linelle Street near Young and 401 in North York.
Thanks to Alan, the Fitzsimons Family name will live on in Canada.
