Albert Edward Moore

Albert Edward Moore (66) passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 22, 2023 at Bruyere Hospital, after a 6-month battle with prostate cancer.

Albert was born to Wiley (Bill) and Elizabeth (Betty) Moore on July 30, 1956 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba. Albert had an innate talent for sports, playing numerous throughout his life (baseball, broom ball, football). Albert had a great love for the outdoors and old western films. Albert was always the person willing to lend a hand to his friends and neighbours.

For his career, Albert worked for the City of Ottawa for 30+ years in the Water Meter Division.

Albert is survived by his daughter Candace Moore, his sister Janis Cameron, and nieces Dawn and Diana.

There will be no funeral service held for Albert at his request.

Albert will be greatly missed by his family, friends, neighbours, and Jax (the dog)
