It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Alex, “Aleko.” Beloved husband to Maria of 55 yrs., devoted father to George, Anastasia and Harry, loving grandfather to Natasha, Angela and Sophia, loving father-in-law to Mary and Lorina. He was a pillar of quiet strength. His love and devotion was felt by everyone in the family. We will miss his dry sense of humour and his passion for cooking delicious cuisine from various cultures due to his long restaurant career.
The Viewing will be held on Tuesday April 18, 2017, 5pm-9pm. Funeral Services to be held the following day on Wednesday April 19, 2017 at 10:30am. Both dates will be at The Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 136 Sorauren Ave. Toronto, 416-537-2665 The burial will be at Pine Hills Cemetery at 625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K 1R1.
