Allen always said he wasn't afraid of dying... he was afraid of not living. He had a zest for life, which brought him many an adventure. He juggled flaming torches on top of his six foot unicycle, touched the clouds flying his hang glider, scuba dived and snorkeled all over the world, and built and flew (his lifetime love) of remote control airplanes.
He whistled while he worked... as an aircraft mechanic, manufacturing technician responsible for inventing a helmet for a bomb disposal suit now helping clear landmines worldwide, and as a carpenter. He could literally take anything apart and put it back together better than new. He touched the lives of everyone he met with his good humor, positive outlook on life and integrity.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Taunyee Robbins, and step children, Matthew, Anna and Robin MacLellan, mother, Francis Boulanger, five brothers and sisters: Suzanne Sweetapple (Stanish), Larry Stanish, Stephen Stanish, Richard Stanish and Diana Stanish , daughter-in-law, Saida Benhayoune, son-in-law Angus Menzies, and 4 beautiful grandchildren, Ali and Leyla MacLellan, and Ewan and Mica Menzies.
