Allen (Al) Douglas MacDonald

It’s with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Allen Douglas MacDonald (Al). He passed away at home due to complications related to COPD in the early morning hours of Saturday, January 9th.

He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Tracy (Dave), his grandchildren Leah (Jeff), Jessie, and Ryan. He will also be missed by his siblings Sandy (Stewart), Carol and Barb (Terry), along with nieces and nephews Leslie, Sharon, Jillian, Terry and Grant and great niece and nephew Haden and Nathan.

Al was a Mechanic by trade and a Teacher for the Toronto District School Board until his retirement. Al had many friends and will be missed by all of them, especially Donnie Robertson.

In accordance with his wishes, no funeral services are planned, but please feel free to share a fond memory, story, or picture of Al on the Tribute Wall. In lieu of flowers, if you wish to, please donate to your favorite charity in Al’s name.
