Amelita Roque

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Amelita Roque (Nellie to most of her loved ones). She passed away on the morning of July 11, 2020 at the comfort of her home following a short struggle with liver cancer.

She was surrounded by her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.

Nellie was a devoted and caring mother, grandmother and friend to everyone. She enjoyed taking and making trips around the world, not only for herself but for the people in her life. Nellie lived with a kind heart and in service of others. In however way she could, she made sure to be of help to her family, friends and even strangers.

She had lived an extraordinary life. Her family and friends are happy to know that she is now enjoying eternity in Heaven, with her son Raymund and her passed loved ones.
Nellie will truly be missed.

There will be a viewing service on July 16, 2020 at St. John's Dixie Cemetery and Crematorioum, 737 Dundas St. E, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B5, from 3:00pm - 9:00pm EST.
