BORWICK, Andrew Kenneth (Ken)
April 6, 1932 - April 2, 2015
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Andrew Kenneth (Ken) Borwick on Thursday, April 2, 2015 in Mississauga, Ontario, just four days shy of his 83rd Birthday. He is the son of the late Isabella Meiklejohn and Andrew Borwick and was predeceased by his wife of 37 years, Marilyn Patricia Morton. He is survived by his two children Lynda-Lee (Rob Ramsay) and Rob (Mylene Lapointe), and companion, Annette Britnell. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Jennifer, Tyler, Kimberly and Kevin, his dear sister Isobel, niece Jackie and nephew Gavin. Born in Park Extension, raised a family in St. Bruno, spent most of his career with Ross Ellis and retired to Toronto. Ken was passionate about sports; played hockey for the Montreal Junior Royals, as well as enjoyed baseball, skiing and golf. Although our hearts and thoughts are with him, we find solace in the fact that his suffering has ended and that one day we will be together again. "We miss you already and will love you forever". A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 22 at 11:00 am at Evergreen Retirement Community, 820 Scollard Court, Mississauga, Ontario, L5V 0A1. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to "Crohn's and Colitis Canada" in memory of Ken.
