Angelo Baptista

It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that Angelo Baptista, passed away peacefully at May Court Hospice in Ottawa on Saturday, February 26, 2022, ending his long battle with cancer.  Angelo was the beloved husband of 37 years to Francine, and much loved father of Sonia (Ryan) and Corina (Alex). He was a caring and playful grandfather to Mila, Eva, Nora and Roméo.  He will be greatly missed by his parents, Maria and Evaristo Baptista; brothers and sisters; nephews and nieces and many extended family members.

Angelo's family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to all the staff and doctors at May Court Hospice for their kind, gentle and compassionate care.

A Memorial Mass will be held at la Paroisse St. Joseph, 2757 St. Joseph Blvd, Orleans on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 11 a.m.  The church will be open at 10 a.m.   Due to Covid restrictions, there can be no congregating or hugging inside the church.   There will not be a reception following the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
