Anna Marie Cecilia George

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our fearless monarch: our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anna Marie Cecilia George.She was our sassiest cheerleader, our biggest supporter and loved us fiercely beyond compare. She owned us all and ensured we felt her love and guidance from wherever we were. Her life was consumed and overflowing with devotion to her loved ones and God. She taught us how to be ourselves, never apologizing for taking up space, making noise or leaving a mark on the lives of those around us. She taught us to live fearlessly, to be proud in forgiveness, and to love beyond measure. She leaves us with a passion to carry on her legacy of fierceness and independence, continuing to encourage us from heaven.

Predeceased by her parents, Anna and Elias Power, Sisters Cynthia and Barbara, brother Buck and for just a short time, the love of her life, William George. Welcomed in heaven at the Rainbow Bridge by her beloved dog Bandit! 

She leaves behind to cherish memories, her four children, Bill (Faye), Ann-Marie (Gil), Cindy and Brian, her beloved grandchildren, Brian, Ashley (Nick), Matthew (Shannon), Jessica (Craig), Jenna and Warren (Keri), and her beautiful great-grandchildren, Vincent, Logan and Liam, Kevin, Shaunee, Zoey Anna, Jax, Axel, Finley and Oaklyn. Anna also leaves behind her brothers Russ (Carol) and Peter Power, sisters Una, Sharon and Theresa, with many nieces and nephews. 

To honour her tremendous love of animals and pets throughout the years, donations will be accepted and donated to a rescue organization chosen by her Granddaughter Jenna in the days to follow.
