Anne Coghlan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Coghlan on October 8, 2023 following a long battle with heart disease.

Annie fondly known as “Roone” by many, leaves behind her son Chris (Melissa), daughter Melanie (Griff), sisters Judy, Beverly, Joan (Duncan), granddaughter Amber, and grandsons Ethan and Kaelan.

Anne is predeceased by her father Thomas, mother Katherine (Kass), brothers Tommy and David.

Annie was our family glue and social convener. She was a friend to everyone and had the ability to lighten up a room with her witty sense of humor. She always made people laugh and had a way of making you feel good about yourself. These were her finest assets that made her such a warm and wonderful person.

Her passions were decorating, catering, gardening, playing cards, and bragging about her wonderful grandchildren.

Special thanks to the amazing staff for their care and compassion at Garden Terrace and the Queensway-Carleton Hospital.

A Celebration of Life for immediate family and close friends will follow a private family burial service.
