It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Anne Frances Morris
of Toronto at the Kensington Hospice on Saturday December 17th at the age of 65.
Anne Frances was her birth name, but she is also known as Anne and Annefrances to many.
Born in Pembroke, Ontario to loving parents Peter and Mary Morris (predeceased), Anne Frances
attended Ottawa University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in English.
She also became a certified Teacher of English as a Second Language.
Annefrances had a variety of interests throughout her life that include writing, Therapeutic Touch,
volunteering, and anything baseball, but teaching adult literacy was her passion. And teach she did,
to a great many people who are living richer, fuller lives thanks to her love of and commitment to
sharing and learning.
Anne's family meant the world to her. Anne is survived by her loving husband and dedicated partner of 28 years, David Cole.
Anne is a cherished sister to Paul (predeceased), Peter (Cathy), Kathleen, Jim (Wendy), Fred (Silvia), and Marg (Bob). She is a treasured daughter to Dorinne Cole and Stanley Cole, and loved sister to Linda (Mark), and Steven (Lan). Anne is a devoted Aunt to all of her revered nieces and nephews. A truly loving friend to Gail (predeceased).
Annefrances lived her life being a dearly loved friend to many. She is greatly missed and leaves us all with an abundance of precious memories.
