Anne-Marie Thérèse Bisson, 85, of Cornwall on May 17th at the Cornwall Community Hospital.
Anne-Marie was born in Montcerf, Quebec on April 23, 1938
She enjoyed a long career working for the RCMP.
Anne- Marie was a long time board member of the Waupoos family farm. She loved to sing and was a member of the choir at St Joseph’s in Ottawa. She was also the secretary for The Missionary Association of Mary Immaculate and assisted as hospitality minister there. She spoke at the Canadian Conference of Catholic Cursillos. Anne-Marie was involved in many charitable causes in her lifetime.
She loved to travel and enjoyed visiting all over the world.
Anne-Marie was predeceased by her parents, Ubald and Diomène (nee Dupont) Bisson, and her brothers Robert Bisson and Claude Bisson.
She is survived by her aunt, Ange-Maie Bisson of Cornwall, her sisters in law Violet Bisson of Cornwall and Adele Bisson of Moose Creek, her nephew Bob Bisson (Loretta) of Cornwall, her nieces Laurie Bisson (Pete), Nicole Bisson (Wayne), Angela Bisson (Henri) and Lisa Leger (Matt) of Cornwall, her cherished niece Amanda Ashby of Cornwall and many great-nieces and nephews who she doted on, as well as several cousins and extended family.
She is also survived by her chosen daughters and her friends Lucie Davidson, Helene Burelle, Shirley Burelle and Rose Lalonde and her godchildren Doreen Legue Wood of Cornwall and Carolyn Harris in England.
Anne-Marie will rest with her parents at Notre Dame Cemetery in Ottawa.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation or to the St. Joseph's Palliative Care Centre would be appreciated.
