Antonio Galvez Jimenez

Galvez Jimenez, Antonio – Passed away peacefully in his 86th year on May 15th, 2017 at Lanark Heights. Husband of the late Josefa Galvez (formerly Josefa Garcia Rubio.) Beloved father of Tony, Manuel, Joseph, and Fernando and their spouses Bianca, Judy, Cathy, and MacKenzie. Proud grandfather of Justin, Nichalas, Alex, Jacob, Tiffany, Jessica, Melissa, Tomas, and Jonathan and great-grandfather of Alden and Grayson. Son of the late Remedios Jimenez Soto and Antonio Galvez Fernandez.
Born in Seville, Spain, Antonio immigrated to Canada with his family in 1968. He was a loving husband and father who worked at Budd Canada until retirement. Antonio was an avid cyclist and a kind, loving man who was cherished by all.
A funeral and memorial service will be held at St. Aloysius Parish, 11 Traynor Avenue, Kitchener, Ontario on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at 10h00 am. A reception in the parish hall will follow. If desired, memorial donations in Antonio's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
