BARBARA ("BARB") MELANSON April 6, 1945 - September 23, 2019

Barbara ("Barb") Melanson, 74, passed away with her loving family by her side, in Brampton, Ontario on September 23, 2019.
Barb is survived by her children, Wendy, James (Catherine) and Ronnie (Claudia); her grandchildren, Chantel (Kevin), Tyler, Brandon and Janna; her great grandson, Sebastian; her sister Diane; her brother, Gary; her mother-in-law, Blanche (Benjamin); her brother-in-law, James (Sandy), and many other relatives and friends.
Barb was born in Truro, Nova Scotia on April 6, 1945. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; her mother Mary; her sister, Marilyn and her brothers, Jack and Ronnie.
Family, relatives and friends knew Barb as one of the kindest, sweetest people who loved and adored her children and grandchildren, and who showed love and compassion to so many others. Barb will be truly and sadly missed.
Family and friends can say final good-byes at a viewing scheduled for Monday September 30, 2019 between 7 and 9 p.m., at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium (737 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B5). Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 1, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Dixie Cemetery & Crematorium (737 Dundas St E, Mississauga, ON L4Y 2B5), with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Barb's life.
