SLATER, Barrie Lawson – Passed away suddenly at his home in Barrie on Friday, August 9th, 2019 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of the late Barbara. Dear father of Lorraine Shackleton and Peter Slater (Rachelle). Loving grandfather of Parker Slater and Brett Shackleton. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the Barrie Union Cemetery (338 Sunnidale Road) on Monday, September 23rd, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
