Beatrice Carroll "Carolyn" Draper

The family of Carolyn Draper is saddened to announce her passing on October 31, 2023, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital in her 74th year. She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Gwen Draper (nee Forgie), brothers Irwin, Harold, and Kenneth, sisters Winifred and Lois. She is survived by her sons Christopher (Joanne), Jason (Linda), her brother Lesley (Claudette) and her grandchildren Emily and Daniel. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Carolyn was an animal lover with a passion for Arabian horses that began at the age of 5 years old when she started riding. She was happiest at the barn. Before retirement she worked at Nettleton’s Jewelers in the Westgate Shopping Centre for over 25 years.

A private interment will take place at Capital Memorial Gardens, Ottawa.
