Bernard Lawrence Barnaby

Born November 17, 1928 passed away September 18, 2019.
Loving husband of Carroll Barnaby, cherished father of Brian (Judy), Michael (Sonja), Linda (Gerry) and Daniel Harris (stepson). Beloved grandpa of Craig (Rachael), Alicia (Amr) and Christopher. Beloved great grandfather of Jayce, Darcy and Ramsey.
Will forever be missed by family and friends. Bernie had a wonderfully happy outlook on life. He was a gentle soul and we were so blessed to have had him in our lives. A new angel arrived in heaven today.
A celebration of Bernie's life will be held at Falcon Ridge Race View Golf Course (across from Rideau Carleton Raceway) on Sunday, September 22nd between 1:00pm & 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, well wishers are asked to kindly make donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or CNIB in Bernie’s name. As to Bernie’s wishes, and the fact that he was a man that never stood on formality, this is an informal gathering. Come as you are and share your funny, poignant or loving reminiscences about this great and loved fella.
