Peelar, Bethany (Biff) Margaret (nee Berry)

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Beth “Biff” Margaret Peelar peacefully on Thursday February 13th, 2025 surrounded by her family at Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie, in her 69th year after a long battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Paul Peelar for 49 years. 

Loving mother of David Peelar, Cherie Peelar and Stephen Peelar and wife Chrystal of Barrie. Cherished grandmother to Logan, Emma, Arlo and Luna. Loving sister to Tim Berry and wife Heidi of Barrie and Matt Berry and wife Rose of Toronto. Pre-Deceased by parents Ralph and Grace Berry. 

Beth worked for McDonalds for 30 years and loved interacting with people. Beth loved doing arts and crafts, she was always painting or making bracelets. She loved her cats and spent many years rescuing and helping strays. 

Our family would like to thank Dr. Kozanczyn, Syl Grenier, Dr. White and the Cancer Care and Palliative Care Team at Royal Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion with Beth. And a special thanks to Melissa for coming from Edmonton to be with her.

Beth you are and always will be the love of my life and I will be at your side again someday.

As to Beth wishes Cremation has taken place and there will be no service

Internment will take place May 14, 2025 at Barrie Union Cemetery.
