Beverlee Opal Sabourin (nee Rohn) passed away peacefully at home with family by her side at the age of 88 years. Bev was born in Smith Falls, then moved to Ottawa with her husband, Leo. They retired in Brinston where she served as Matilda Township Councillor. In 2004 after the death of Leo, she moved to Kemptville where she lived until 2022. She then moved in with her daughter Judy in Carleton Place.Predeceased by husband Leo, daughter Susan MacLaurin, twin infant daughters Cindy and Bonnie, sisters Betty Cowie, Barbara Silvers, Sharon Rohn, and brother Bud Rohn. Loving mother to Steven (Barbara) of Ottawa, Janet McAdam (Bill) of Kemptville, Judy (David Yeo) of Carleton Place, and David (Jennifer) of Manotick. Dear sister of Sandra May of Ottawa.
Granny will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Rod Kyd (Laurie), Ben Freeth (Linda), Peter Freeth (Kasie), Mike McAdam (Kate), Josh McAdam (Karah), Samantha Harbers (Matt), Eric Sabourin, Sydney Sabourin, James Benning (Cassandra), Darren Benning (Sabika), Dalon Yeo, Damian Yeo and her great grandchildren: Sadie and Quinn Freeth, Noah Kyd, Thomas Benning, Layna and Bennett McAdam, Wren and Wesley Harbers, Deakon McAdam and Heatley Freeth.

Memorial Service will be held at Merivale United Church, 1876 Merivale Road, Ottawa on Saturday May 11, 2024 at 1:00 pm. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Ottawa Heart Institute or Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.
