Beverley Anne Epp

July 19, 1953 — February 14, 2021

It is with deep sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of Bev Epp at home, surrounded by love from her adoring husband, Wayne, in the morning of Valentines Day, February 14, 2021 at the young age of 67.

Born July 19; 1953 She was pre-deceased by her parents John (Jack) Logan and mother Dorothy, (nee Reynolds).

She was the much loved mother of two sons: Keith and wife Kristin and Todd and partner Heather, and the loving grandmother of Liam, who she adored. She was the precocious and adored sister to brothers Gary and wife Carolyn, Guy and wife Jackie, sister Cheryl and husband Rob. Predeceased by her sister Sheran. She will be greatly missed by her extended Epp family, her nieces and nephews and her great nieces and nephews. Her laughter and charm will also be missed by her many, many close friends from near and far. She deeply loved all her closest friends, and she made sure they knew how much they were treasured in her final days. What a gift!

Bev waged a two year battle with Pancreatic Cancer with grace, humility and amazing courage. Typical of Bev, her only worries were for Wayne, her family and her friends. She never wanted to be the centre of attention. Her strength and sheer will to live was nothing short of extraordinary!

Bev had an incredibly happy life filled with laughter and great times. Family and friends were her greatest joy.  Gardening was her passion. She could have won awards for her gardens, but she was too modest to ask for the accolades.  She loved music, travelling and most of all the sun on her face on a warm day. Her laughter and smiling blue eyes melted everyone’s hearts, but her sincerity and undying loyalty, love and support for her family and friends was her greatest gift. She embodied the word trust.
Stunningly beautiful throughout her life, she was never self-centered or aloof. Her real beauty was her sincerity and her honesty.

She had an exceptional work career marked by many promotions and accolades in her 32 year career with Rogers, retiring in 2013.  She loved her job, but most of all the close friends she embraced there. That’s where she met the love of her life, Wayne.
We married December 7, 1996. We were inseparable. Every day was filled with joy and we rarely ever had a disagreement. We were having too much fun. She could always come up with something that would send us into hysterical laughter.
We shared our loving home with our pet cats Sass, Newman and Blanche and then our three pups Nicky, Amber and Charlie.

I’ve always said that we had a never ending honeymoon. We shared everything. She supported me in my business ventures, and that took a great deal of faith and belief.
Our travels took us to Italy, Germany, many of the islands in the Caribbean, the US, across Western Canada several times, and Quebec City multiple times. Those were precious times for us filled with memories shared with our very closest friends and family.
Our home was filled with love, passion, and known for our over the top Christmas decorations and lights.  We married at Christmas, and we kept the spirit of the season alive every day we were together. Her gardens, and our pools made our home a vacation luxury resort for the other months of the year. But what truly put the heart and soul into our home and our life was our undying love for each other.
I promise that will live on, Bev. I love you deeply and forever.
Babe I’m dancing in the dark, with you between my arms
Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favourite song
I have faith in what I see
Now I know I have met an angel in person
And she looks perfect
I don’t deserve this
You look perfect tonight

Per Bev’s wishes, a cremation has taken place and an on-line ceremony will take place in the coming days, (to be announced). A Celebration of Life will take place in her gardens in late spring pending social distancing being relieved.
