FORD, BLANCHE ELIZABETH (BONNEY)

On February 28, 2023, in her 94th year, has passed away peacefully at RVH hospital in Barrie. Wonderful loving wife of Frank Ford and the best Mom to Randy (predeceased) and her special daughter Anita Elizabeth. Grandma of Bradley(Yvette) Ford, Sheri (Tyler) Braun and Joss. Great Grand Nana to Trinity, Annika, Katie, Duson, Syrus and Talena. Predeceased by her siblings, brother and sister in-laws, Milton (Ada) Bonney, Gladys (Earl) Rugman, Irene (Howard) Partridge, Emma (Peter) Windatt, Lillian (Parker) Kelcey, Percey (Alice) Ford, Bill (Blanche) Ford. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, especially Rae who has always been there for us. She always appreciated Debbie Bagley, Barb Van Der Heyden, Bonney Smith and Ella Bell for staying in touch and visiting with her.

She will be sadly and forever missed by her Husband after spending 73 years together. As the Baby of her family and final member of her family to leave the earth she looked forward to meeting up with them and her son again in her after life. Blanche enjoyed her life on the farm and her years living at Harris Lake outside Parry Sound before eventually returning to Barrie. The family spent many wonderful years going to the lake.

Although she is leaving us now, we will be together again.

While in the hospital on the 4th Floor, Surgery 2 unit, she received amazing care from the nursing staff.

As per her wishes, cremation and a private family gathering will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Charity of your choice.
