Bret Hobbs

It is with a very heavy heart we are sad to announce the passing of Bret Hobbs.  He passed away peacefully at North York General on Thursday August 19th,  with his beloved wife Lorraine at his side.

Bret is survived & will be deeply missed by his loving wife Lorraine Beckett, his 2 stepdaughters Shannon (Dave), Lindsay (Anthony).  His mother Patricia, sister Shannon (Brent), brother Trent, daughter Amanda, nephews Kyle and Zechariah, and niece Hannah. Bret is pre-deceased by his father Daniel. He will also be missed by his many cousins, nieces,  great-nieces and nephews, and numerous friends.

Bret was a proud man who worked hard and lived harder.  He enjoyed life to the fullest.  As many of his friends can relate to, he was always there to lend a helping hand and support when needed.

Anyone who knew Bret knows he was a die hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  He will truly be missed during this upcoming season especially when he is not sitting on the couch next to Lorraine yelling at the TV.  We know he will be watching from above.

Bret's wish to be cremated will be honoured after a 2 hour Farewell Viewing at St. John's Dixie in Mississauga, details below:
