Brian Earl Douglas Hartley

In memory and celebration of a life well lived.

Brian.  Dad.  We think of you today with love, but that is nothing new.  Although you lost your battle with lung cancer and the last two months have been so difficult, we will always and forever remember you as the strong, loving, dependable husband and father you have been to us.

Brian left quietly.  He went peacefully and quickly as the sun rose on Monday, April 10, 2023.

Born in St. Catharines on October 27, 1953, Brian was the first son of Audrey (nee Merrill) and Jack Hartley and oldest brother to Wayne, Debbie, Bruce, Heather and Rob. His family, including his uncle, Gord Merrill and cousins Brent, Rick and Chantal, will miss him very much.

Brian leaves his wife Linda and his two sons, Jordan (Kim) and Matthew (Shawna.) They are devastated with their loss. But they also know how lucky they are to have loved someone so much, that saying goodbye is heartbreaking.

He also leaves many friends who will remember his love for music, wine, traveling and the Blue Jays.

As was his wish, there will be no service, but we will soon have a small family gathering to remember him.
