Bryan Fang

March 7, 1957 — May 17, 2024

It is with heavy hearts and unbearable sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful man, Bryan Joseph Wei-Son Fang. He passed away peacefully at home in Oakville, Ontario, on May 17, 2024 at the age of 67.

Bryan’s life was marked by a passion for learning and a deep commitment to expanding his knowledge. He recently reached a significant milestone in his life by earning his MBA.  This accomplishment was a testament to his hard work, perseverance,  and dedication to personal and professional growth.  He was known for his infectious enthusiasm, generous spirit, and deep love for those around him. He had a passion for the outdoors, often spending his free time hiking, camping, and exploring nature's beauty.  His adventurous spirit took him on many journeys, where he found joy in the beauty of the world and the diversity of its cultures and people.

Bryan is predeceased by his father, Patrick Fang, and his mother, Margaret Fang (Cheng).

Bryan is survived by his beloved spouse, Catherine (Bear), who was his constant companion and greatest source of joy.  Their partnership was a true testament to love and mutual support, inspiring all who knew them.  Bryan also leaves behind his sons, Evan Fang and Jeremy Fang, step-children, Blake Murdock (Emily), Leah Moore (Andrew), and Lucas Murdock (Sabrina), siblings, Jennifer Fang (Rob), Deborah Fang (John), Chris Fang (Cathy), Jacqueline Eng, Timothy Fang (Carissa), and Patricia Fang (Vince). Bryan is survived by many nieces and nephews who will dearly miss him.  Bryan will be missed by the "old gang" and the new friends he met along the way.

A special thanks to Jeffery Cheng, Bryan’s nephew for his caring and support.

Bryan’s light will forever shine in our hearts, and spirit will continue to guide us.  He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
