On Sunday, September 6, 2020, Bryon Anthony Rousseau, resident of St. Thomas, passed away peacefully at the age of 36, after a short battle with cancer.
Bryon was born on May 9, 1984 in London, Ontario to parents Gina Van Gerven and Larry Rousseau. The love of Bryon's life was his beautiful daughter, Aurora. They enjoyed spending time together at the beach, going camping, and fishing. Bryon was an avid music lover. He had a passion for working out and racing cars, especially his Trans Am. He treasured the bond and friendship he had with his older brother, Greg. He was known for his sense of humor, his work ethic, and his ability to "tell it like it is".
Bryon is predeceased by his step-mother, Linda Rousseau, and his brother in-law, Greg Laemers. Bryon will be forever remembered by his precious daughter, Aurora, and his brothers and sister Larry (Samantha), Greg (Patricia), and Virginia (Paul). He will also be fondly remembered by his niece and nephews, Rowan, Max, Cole, Conner, and Spencer, as well as extended family and dear friends.
A private ceremony for the interment of ashes will be held at South Park Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 11th from 2pm - 5pm, at Knights of Columbus on Wellington Street in St. Thomas. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the hall is limited to 50 people at a time. Social distancing will be in effect and masks are mandatory.
