Carol Ann Therrien

Carol Ann Therrien, a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, passed on January 17, 2025, at Cornwall Hospice after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on August 10, 1953, in Welland, Ontario, Carol was the beloved daughter of the late Allan and Pearl Wren.

Carol is survived by her adoring children: Jason Therrien (Tracey Kirker); Heather Therrien; and Alanna Shelp, who is married to Shawn Shelp. Her sisters; Linda Todkill, Janice Hack, Brenda Wren, and Sandy Sliter.She was a proud grandmother to Brittany Robinson, Landon Shelp, Logan Shelp, Hailey Ladouceur, Hope Ladouceur, Lily Therrien, Cole Therrien, and Wyatt Therrien. The love she had for her family was profound and unwavering.

A Celebration of Life honoring Carol will be held on February 1, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Mo Events, located at 17369 Cornwall Centre Rd. Unit B, Cornwall, ON, K6K1K6.

Carol’s battle with breast cancer was long and challenging, having faced the disease twice before the illness that ultimately took her life. Through it all, she exhibited grace and strength, serving as an inspiration to many.

Her kindness, warmth, and enduring love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. The legacy of her life will continue through her cherished family, who find comfort in their shared memories and the lessons she imparted.
