Patrick, Carole Jean (nee Wadsworth)
It is with heavy hearts and deepest sorrow that after a lengthy uphill battle, Carole has departed from us peacefully with dignity and grace at The Cornwall Community Hospital on her 70th Birthday October 30 2017, surrounded by family and friends.
Carole is the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Wadsworth of Cornwall, beloved sister of Diane Raymond (Kevan Whittaker) of Kemptville, Beverly Wadsworth of Calgary, and predeceased by her brother Stuart Wadsworth of Cornwall. Formerly wed to Christopher Patrick (Carol Pedersen). Carole will be greatly missed and forever loved by her children: Stuart Patrick (Stephanie Ackroyd) and Shannon Patrick (Donald Callan). Her dear Grandchildren: Corey Patrick-Brazeau, Samantha Patrick (Shayne Bedard), Marian Patrick, Ethan Patrick, Isabella Ackroyd, and Victoria Ackroyd. Her Great-Grandchildren: Willow and Elijah Bedard. As well as her nieces: Donna, Kerri, Lori, and Becky. Her dearest friends: Richard and Theresa St. Denis (Mandy, Kristen, Kevin), Wendy and Scott Gardiner (and family), Craig Brazeau (and family), and Beverly Woods. She will be loved and remembered by many other close and wonderful friends and family members. Carole will also be greatly missed by her beloved companion “JAKE” for whom she cherished most in this world.
Carole’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the personal support workers involved in providing exceptional care, as well as the nurses and doctors who provided comfort and compassion this past year and during her passing.
For everyone who knew her, we were truly blessed to have such a charismatic, warm-hearted, and gracious woman in our lives, she will remain in our hearts and memories forever.
Carole will be laid to rest, following cremation, at the Maple Grove Cemetery on Vincent Massey Drive. Invitations to a celebration of life will be sent at a later date.
