Born Charleen Ann Paules on November 14, 1942, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Charles Paules and Helen Paules (nee Norsic), Charleen passed away peacefully on May 7, 2022, at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, Ontario.
Charleen married Clinton Leo Tyler in Novi, Michigan, on August 6, 1962, and gave birth to her only child, Clinton Geordie Tyler, on April 19, 1973.
She exemplified a loving and devoted, strong yet empathetic, Catholic woman who lived her life based on her faith and loving her family.
She worked to “put hubby through” university so that our family could enjoy a sound financial future.
Charleen cared greatly for her extended family, both in her native Ohio and across the United States.
She valued her membership, of more than 40 years to the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, where she made many lifelong friends and touched the lives of those she met.
Her selfless love and support of family and friends never waivered.
Charleen’s loss has created a hole in our hearts that will never heal, but we take solace in the hope that we may someday be reunited.
Rest well, Charlie/Ma.
Charleen’s life will be celebrated on June 17, 2022, at 10:00 AM with a mass and gathering afterwards at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 65 Amelia Street, Barrie, Ontario.
Interment will be at 1:00 PM at St. Mary’s Cemetery, on Sunnidale Road, Barrie, Ontario.
