Passed away peacefully at Mississauga Hospital on Wednesday October 23, 2019 in his 83rd year.
Survived by his spouse, Georgina R Johnson of 33 years.
Brother to (predeceased) Bert Tunney, Bob Tunney, Jim Tunney, Cliff Tunney and Terry Tunney. Survived by his sister Jeannette (Tunney) Ellis.
Beloved father of Mae Tunney-Barnes, Linda Tunney, Charles Tunney and Kelly Tunney. Step Father to: Heather Johnson and Dawn Johnson (Kevin Appleton).
Proud grandfather of Michael Johnson, Warren Appleton, Julia Thrasher, Tyler Barnes, Chris Gabrielson, Amanda Gabrielson, Mathew Tunney, Shannon Loder, and William Tunney (predeceased), Bradley Tunney, Michael Tunney, Tristan Tunney and Abbey Cosulich.Proud Great grandfather to Zackery McEwen, Jacob McEwen, Jackson Barnes, Cameron Barnes, Carter Gabrielson, Autumn Tunney, Blake Loder, Cadence Loder, Ivy Loder, Harmony Loder, Aurora Tunney/Smith Son of the late Charles Sylvester Tunney and Emma Tunney (Bradley).
Fondly remembered by many Nieces and Nephews.
Fred worked for many decades as a Plant Manager at Romac Products. Fred enjoyed boating and photography as a few of his favorite past times as well as having his family and friends around. Fred also enjoyed dancing and music while playing pool and darts. Fred's outgoing nature and warming smile will be dearly missed by anyone and everyone that knew him.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life and to share memories and or photos at The Army and Navy 765 Third St in Mississauga on November 10, 2019 @ 13:00hrs.
The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors at Mississauga Trillium with special thank you to nurses Randal and Paula for their caring nature and kind souls in treating the King of the clan as one of their own family members in our heartbreaking time.
