Cherished and beloved father of Lori Slater-Worfolk (Peter Worfolk) and Lynn Snoddon (James Snoddon). He is predeceased by his parents John Clifford Slater and Muriel Grace Slater (Medlar) as well as his three brothers Jack Slater, Grant Slater and Donald Slater. Howard owned two businesses in Orillia, Red Top Equipment Co Ltd and later in “retirement” Mike’s Bookstore. Howard was most happy being active outdoors and being around animals.
