Christopher Geoffry Grimwood

Christopher Geoffry Grimwood passed away suddenly on February 28th, 2023 at 9:10PM with his loving family by his side. Chris was born in Roxboro, Quebec August 4th, 1968 to his wonderful parents Marilyn (Dash) and Trevor (deceased). He is also survived by his adoring fiancé Cindi, his only son Gavin (MacKenzie and granddaughter on the way Eden), his sisters Barbara and Joanne, and brother Michael as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, close friends and last but not least, his beloved fur baby Wilson, aka Wilsonator.

Chris had a passion for a fast life! He loved his fast cars, his favourite was the Ferrari and fast bikes like his Hayabusa. He enjoyed watching Formula One racing, being with his loved ones, travelling to Cabo and watching movies with his 4-legged companion Wilson. Chris was a brilliant man, he was a whiz with finances and investments, he could fix anything at all and rebuild any computer.  Anyone who knows Chris knew of his amazing heart, his kindness and empathy for anyone and everyone. He especially loved animals and would do anything to protect them.

A celebration of life will be held Sunday, March 5th, 2023 from 1-3 at the Basic Funerals - Jennett Memorial Centre, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Chris’s name to the Cancer Society and the Diabetes Foundation.
