Today we pause to remember a man cherished for his warmth and humor. He brought joy and laughter to those around him, valued deeply for his down-to-earth nature and the simple pleasures he enjoyed in life.
A skilled craftsman, he found joy in working with his hands and made his mark through numerous personal and professional projects. His practical approach to life and endless wit were infectious, and he held a special place in the hearts of his family and friends.
An avid fisherman, he was always ready to share both his catch and his stories. His jokes and laughter enriched our lives, making every gathering memorable.
He leaves behind his loving siblings JP, Raymond, André, Estelle, and Collette. He was predeceased by his brothers Marcel, Luc, and Charlie, as well as his parents, Paul Yvon Bernier and Claire Lavoie.
In reflecting on his life, we take comfort knowing that his spirit lives on through his children, Nicole and John, his grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and the positive contributions they continue to make.
He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
