Colin Derek Dobbie

Colin Dobbie, 59 passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital on February 13th, 2023. He has lived in the Barrie area for over 20 years. He was born in Scotland on May 21, 1963 but came to Canada with his parents, John and Marion Dobbie. He spent much of his life in the Toronto region until moving to Simcoe County in 1998 with his wife and kids. He and his wife, Maryanne went their separate ways in October 2000.  He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish, camp and tinker on his motorcycles. The past few years had been difficult for Colin but he will be remembered and missed by many. We hope he is at peace. Colin is survived by his mother Marion, ex-wife Maryanne, sister Ruth and brother Andrew, son Codi, daughter Jade and nieces Kayla and Kristen.
