Colin Houle

Colin Patrick Houle "Wask" of Mildmay, Ontario, passed away suddenly on March 31, 2025 at South Bruce Grey Health Centre in Walkerton, Ontario.   He was born on June 30, 1972 and was adopted by his amazing parents Patrick and Mary (Wysocki) Houle.

Colin loved his family very much and is survived by his wife, Tina Marie King, his daughter, Dakota Patricia Houle, his sister, Tracy Walker, his nephews, Jareth Walker, Ewan Walker (Terry Salandanan), and Gavin Walker (Althea Fernandes), and his father-in-law, Daniel King.  Predeceased by his father, Patrick Houle, his mother, Mary Houle, and his mother-in-law, Patricia Watkins.

Anyone who knows Colin knows that we cannot possibly leave out his furry friends that he loved just as much.  Colin's beloved black cat in heaven, Princess, the mischievous chunky cat, Dorothy, and of course his baby girl, that only had love for him, his beautiful skinny mini kitty, Mae.

Colin has been working since we was 16, when his dad got him a job at Express Airborne.  He was a very hard worker no matter where he ended up through the change of company names, he stuck with them.  While he was working in Brampton, he met his future wife, Tina, who was a security guard at his work.  They have been together since June 3, 2003.  On December 20, 2010, he became a father to his daughter, Dakota, who he named and loved tremendously as soon as he held her in his arms.

Before Colin passed, he was a courier driver in Kitchener, Ontario for Loomis Express.  He loved everyone he worked with, some even became his best friends.  He would help anyone that needed, always had a joke ready to share, and of course anyone that worked with him will remember him either barking or meowing randomly in the warehouse.

Colin was a very devoted father and loved any chance to take his daughter to a concert, fair or play.  He spoiled her so much, just to see the happiness in her eyes.

Colin loved spending time with his aunts, uncles, and cousins when he had the chance.  His fondest memories were fishing, playing cards with them, and Christmas dinners.

Colin loved driving his dads Corvette when the weather was beautiful.  He loved listening to music in the car or at home deafening anyone near by.  He loved watching movies with his family, and playing video games with his daughter.  He was an amazing cook, and loved trying out new recipes.

Colin will leave a hole in the heart of all those that loved him.

We will laugh a little less now, but we will never forget the beautiful soul that left this earth far too soon.
