Colleen Holmes, Passed away on Sept.21,2020

Loved by many she loved many in return. We lost her far too early. She passed away peacefully at home fighting cancer on Sept. 21st in the presence of her loved ones. She will be terribly missed by husband Peter, son Chris(Lily), granddaughter Jacklyn, son Casey(Katelyn), and grandson Henry.

Generous, level headed and fair, she was well regarded at home and in her career at StatsCan where she retired as director of human resources. She achieved Silver Life Master in her favourite game: duplicate bridge. She was much loved by her many bridge friends and by her favourite partner husband whom she met playing the game at a local club.

The family salutes the dedicated medical team of doctors, nurses and support staff that helped extend her life another 6 years. The family thanks friends and relatives for their prayers, solace, hope and encouragement during this difficult time.

A private service will be held for the family. Due to Covid restrictions, a visitation is being arranged on an invitation basis. In lieu of flowers please donate to the CIBC Run For The Cure or a charity of your choice.
