Constance Cameron, lovingly known as Connie, a beloved mother, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend passed away in Ottawa, Ontario surrounded by her family on March 1, 2024. She was born in Pembroke, Ontario on October 2, 1957.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her late husband Terry Cameron. She is reunited in eternal peace with her father Emmerson Severin and mother Doris Green. Constance's proudest accomplishments were not the accolades or material possessions, but rather the precious relationships she nurtured with her family, especially her children and grandchildren whom she loved unconditionally.
She is survived by her children Timothy Severin (Katie), Bobby Severin (Shannon), and siblings Sheila Severin, Carolyn McPherson, Lyle Severin, and Beverly Reece. She will also be deeply missed by her grandchildren Samantha Lavoie, Jocelyn McKay, Cody McKay, Shea Severin, Dakota Bryant, and Haley Bryant.
She will be dearly missed by extended family and friends; Kelly McKay, Kimberly Kruger, Cary Stencell, Shelly Severin, Doreen Larocque, Maureen Tracey, and many, many others.
Fondly remembered for her warm smile and infectious sense of humor, Connie had a heart as sweet as the chocolate milk she adored. She was always up for a few games of Skip-Bo or Scrabble. Constance had a love for music and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. Her love for scratch tickets and Werther's candies brought sweetness into her life, reflecting her joyous spirit. She was always kind and generous, helping others as a way to show her love, and she cherished spending time with her family and doting on her grandchildren. She had a dedication to honesty and integrity that she upheld throughout her life. Connie never shied away from speaking the truth, always valuing transparency above all.
Though Constance Cameron may have left this world physically, her spirit lives on in the countless lives she touched with love, kindness, and laughter. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that her memory will forever be cherished by those who were lucky enough to have known her. Farewell dear Connie, may you rest in peace knowing you were deeply loved.
