Corey William McCann

It is with overwhelming sadness that the family of Corey William McCann announce his passing on Saturday December 7, 2019, at the age of 35, after a tough battle with cancer. Corey will be deeply lovingly missed by his Tara (Brownlee), his parents Jaynee and Paul McCann, his brother Christopher McCann and his little sister Caitlyn McCann (Steven Gurr). Corey will also be dearly missed by his grandparents Tom and Edna McCann, nephew Lennon Gurr, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends who were like family and his friends in the local music scene. Corey was a true enjoyer of life and his impact on those around him was immeasurable.

Friends and family are invited to attend a celebration of Corey’s life to be held on Saturday December 14, 2019 at Donaliegh’s Irish Public House, 28 Dunlop Street East in Barrie from 1:00-4:30pm, with words of remembrance to be shared at 2:30pm.

In Lieu of flowers donations in Corey's memory may be made to the RVH Cancer Centre.
