Not satisfied with just one career, she pursued her creative side and enrolled at Humber College to become a photographer. For many years she worked at the Downsview Rehabilitation Centre of the Workers Safety and Insurance Board as a medical photographer. When the Centre closed, she transferred to the WSIB head office as a librarian - and her third career.

Family was always important to Cynthia, and she took particular interest in her nieces and nephews as they grew up.

In accordance with her wishes, Cynthia’s ashes will be placed in the columbarium at the Bracebridge Cemetery at a private ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, donations to your favourite charity would be appreciated by the family.
