Peacefully with his wife at his side, at LHSC Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, Mr. Dan Buckosky passed away in his 77th year. Beloved husband for 49 years to Shirley (Wirachowsky) Buckosky. Predeceased by his parents Ambrose and Mary (Moldovan) Buckoski. Loving father of Charmaine (Rob) Dusic of London, ON and Valerie (Buckosky) Jackson of Edmonton, AB. Dear grandfather to Sherrie (Chris) Jackson-Buller of Saskatoon, SK, and Slavica and Matisa Dusic of London, ON. Missed by great grand children to Camaro, Wayne and Adam Jackson-Buller. Survived by his sisters Darlene (Bob) Kett of Victoria Harbour, ON, Loreen (the late Dan) Bogdane of Regina, SK and brothers Gus (Terry) Buckosky of Regina, SK, and Clarence (Val) Buckoski of Candle Lake, SK. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Gathering with reception will be held at the Rose Chapel, 6700 Burtwistle Lane, London on Tuesday, September 17th from 5-7 p.m. Cremation to follow. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, EMT specialists and PSW’s from Saint Elizabeth’s that helped Dan during his prolonged illness.
