Daniel Allen

Daniel Allen passed away peacefully at the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa on May 9th, 2022 at the age of 69. He spent his last days surrounded by close family, reminiscing about their life together.

Dan was predeceased by his parents Daniel Oliver Allen (Babe) and Jeanne Marleau.

Survived by his sisters Lynn (Terry - deceased), Gail (Robert - deceased) and his brother, Richard. Sister in law and brother in law Denise and Paul Girard. Dan was loved by many nieces and nephews.

Dan married Suzelle (Sue) on June 9, 1979 and soon after they welcomed two boys - Cody (Gosia) and Brady (Sarah). Dan proved to be an amazing father, husband and grandfather. He always made time for his family, particularly to meet the kids around town while he worked for the City of North Bay as a transit driver, then at the Water Treatment Plant.

He taught his kids that kindness was the best virtue a person could have.

He enjoyed his ice cream, cracking jokes and playing stickers with his beautiful granddaughter Abby, the light of his life.

Daniel was not only a kind-hearted father but a wonderful husband and he will be missed dearly.

At the request of Daniel, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life will be held at the Best Western, Lakeshore Drive, North Bay – Saturday August 6, 2022 from 2-5 pm.
