Darlene Florence Burdett

We are sad to announce the passing of Darlene Florence Burdett. Darlene was born September 19, 1962 and passed away peacefully May 10, 2020 at Hawthorne Care Centre, North York, On. She leaves behind sisters Heather Ann Jarvis (Mark), Kimberly Pitts (Shaun), and niece Harmoni Jarvis. Darlene is now at peace in heaven with mother (Patricia Fay Burdett), grandmother (Mabel Mansfield), and step dad (Philip Pitts).

Darlene lived a simple life. She did not have a lot but she did not ask for a lot. She was a kind, gentle soul who was always willing to give to others. She was a talented artist who liked to paint horses, draw or sketch. She was a mother figure to her two little sisters. Always looking out for their needs and helping them learn life skills. In her later years she was challenged by illness but she fought these challenges to the end with courage.

A private graveside service is to be held at Pine Hills Cemetery in Scarborough where Darlene will be laid to rest with family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
