With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Darrell Da Costa, a devoted husband, father, son, and friend. Darrell leaves behind his loving wife, Candice, and their two beautiful children, Alyssa (10) and Christian (7), who were his pride and joy. He will also be deeply missed by his uncle and aunt, Manuel and Eva Da Costa. He is predeceased by his parents, Fred and Blanche Da Costa, and is now reunited with them. 

Darrell lived life with passion and a playful spirit. He was a big kid at heart, always up for an adventure—whether it was biking with the kids, playing soccer in the backyard, or sharing his love of music and sports. He had recently started a new job in an industry he truly enjoyed, embracing the opportunity with enthusiasm.

Family meant everything to Darrell, and he showed his love not just through words but in the little things—like making time for those he cared about, and finding joy in life’s simplest moments. His energy, laughter, and kindness will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A funeral mass will be held on February 21, 2025, at 2 PM at St. Mark’s Parish in Stouffville, followed by a celebration of life at the Stouffville Legion from 3 PM to 6 PM.
