Dave Kent

David "Dave" passed away suddenly at Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Friday March 15, 2024 at the age of 64. Pre-deceased by his parents Robert and Helen, brother Kenny and sister Donna. Dave is survived by his wife Joanne (nee Hill) and his son Michael Kent Theresa Basso and his grandson Nazz Basso Kent. He will be greatly missed by his extended family members. He loved our predeceased dog Cooper who would be the first to greet him over the rainbow bridge. Sundin, our border collie misses his daddy and all his kisses and ball throwing play times. Many of his coworkers, business clients and club members will miss Dave's contribution as well as his wonderful sense of humour. His large network of friends morn their loss of Dave. His love of life radiated everywhere he went. Dave worked at Polyethics for 12 years and also worked for many other companies in Orillia and Toronto. He also was owner and operator of his books and tax business for over 20 years. His hobbies included darts, hockey, golfing, concerts and travelling. He was a die heart fan of Alice Cooper and enjoyed the drive in movies with his wife Joanne and dogs cooper and Sundin. Dave was an avid participant with the charity golf tournaments and supported numerous fund raisers over his life time. He loved to laugh and have fun. Cremation has taken place.
