David Paul Charlton 80 of [Brampton, Ontario], passed away peacefully on January 22nd at Brampton Civic Hospital. Born on April 25th 1944 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. David Charlton was the son of Florence and Gerald Charlton. Leaving behind a legacy of passion for life and a deep love of family and friends.
A proud Army veteran, David served with honor and dedication, always carrying the values of duty and loyalty with him throughout his life. David was an active member at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 15 in Brampton, for over 50 years.
An avid hockey and baseball fan, he spent countless hours watching games and collecting memorabilia, that which he cherished. David also had an eye for history, collecting rare coins.
In his quiet moments, David could often be found working on puzzles—his mind always in motion, finding joy in the challenge.
David’s life was marked by a dedication to his passions and a heart full of generosity, he leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and countless memories.
David will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, and resilience. He deeply touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.

Molly Charlton (wife), Kimberly Charlton (daughter), Cody Charlton, Tanner Thompson, Farryn Fure (grandchildren) and Gerald Charlton (brother).

A celebration of life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 15, in Brampton at a later date. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate his life.
