Dave took his final journey to Heaven on December 19, 2024 at the Bennett Village in Georgetown, Ontario, with his loving wife Janet and his loving family by his side. David was 83 years young.
David will be deeply missed by his children Debbie(Geoff), Noel (Brenda), Deanna (Michael) and Brandon(Nikki) and his step daughter Andrea (Gareth). A proud and dotting Papa to Amanda, Matthew, Cole, Katie, Grayson, Hanna (Blade), Tegan and step Papa to Connor and Skye. A Great-Papa to Elara, Dax and Kalyke. Dave is survived by his siblings Brian and Janet and their families and will be missed by all his extended family and great friends. Awaiting Dave in Heaven are Gail and Jean, his infant daughter Nova and his parents Lillian and David Clark.
Dave served as a peacekeeper in the Canadian Armed Forces when he was 18 years old to 21 years old. Dave was a Scout Leader for 25 years and a Member of the Lions club in Mississauga and Georgetown for a number of years as well. Dave had a deep passion to participate in the reenactment of the War of 1812 along with painting tiny soldier figurines.
Dave was a gifted artist and had a stained glass business and was very creative with his work.
Dave's wittiness and sarcastic humor will be missed by all who knew him. He loved history, war, trains and boats but most of all he LOVED his family deeply.
There will be a celebration of Dave's life at St .Stephen's Anglican Church in Hornby Ontario at a later date. The Celebration of Life information will be added to this site when available.
