David Edward Gates

On Friday March 30th, 2018 David Edward “Hollywood” Gates, son, fiance, honorary father, brother, uncle and friend passed away suddenly at the age of 47 years. David was a kind, caring, loving and helpful man that everyone adored. David was a loving fiancé and best friend to Allison Snowdy and an adoring stepfather to Cameron, Tanner and Haley. A cherished son to parents Don and Sandra. A fantastic older brother to Jeff (Kathy), Judy (Bill) and Laurie (Paul). David was also a remarkable uncle to his niece and nephews- Summer, Charles, Paige, Isabel, Jacob and Jake. David also left behind countless number of friends. A soul like David’s will never be forgotten.
A celebration of life will be held in his honour in Hamilton – the time and location will be announced shortly.
