Passed away peacefully on Jan 3, 2018, at the age of 72, after a long and courageous battle with many health issues. Beloved husband of Astrid. Cherished father of Heidi (Glen) and Andrew. Doting grandfather of Brinley and Cameron. Much loved brother of Rodger (Christina). Loving uncle to Lisa, Christopher and Cameron. He will be missed by his Montreal and Cornwall families. He will be sorrowfully missed by his Breakfast Buddies, Steve and Mike. The family would like to thank the staff at the Ottawa Civic and General, especially Dr. Luc Lavallée.
A Memorial Gathering will be held Fri. Jan. 12 at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, 5338 Bank St. Ottawa from 11 am – 12:30pm, followed by Mass in the church at 1 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Humane Society or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
