BARTSCH, Davin William

June 7, 1983 – January 15, 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Davin William Bartsch in Toronto on January 15, 2022, at the age of 38.

Born on June 7, 1983, in Calgary, AB, he is survived by his parents, Don and Trudy, sister Kirstin (Alik), son Connor, Aunt Leslie and Uncle Brett, Aunt Maureen, Uncle Jim and Aunt Debbie, several cousins, his four-legged companion, Brooklyn and several friends in locations across Canada. He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents as well as his Uncle Lorne.

A talented artist, Davin struggled with addiction and mental health issues for many years and in the end, he succumbed to them. Over his lifetime he developed many friendships and tried to support others with similar issues. He will be remembered for his joyful laugh, big smile, and never-ending enthusiasm.

Davin will be cremated in Toronto and his ashes returned to his parents in Edmonton. A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
