Deanna Joy Stevens

It is with hearts full of sadness that we announce the death of our dear mother, sister, and nana Deanna Joy Stevens (nee Sutherland) on April 5, 2022 at the age of 78. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Geraldine Sutherland. She is survived by her children Ashley Stevens and Azure-Dee Williamson, brothers Brian, John and Daniel Sutherland, grandchildren Grayson and Ava Stevens. She is predeceased by her husband, of 46 years, Herb Stevens and her brother Robin Sutherland.
During Deanna’s teenage years, she developed a close relationship with her Creator, Jehovah God. She was known as a woman of faith wherever she lived, in Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. Throughout her life, she courageously shared the Bible’s message of hope with her neighbours. It was this unbreakable faith and hope that comforted her in her final days of life.
