Deborah Dillon passed away peacefully at home on February 23, after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She faced the challenges of her illness with incredible strength, grace, and positivity, touching the lives of everyone who knew her.
Debbie was the devoted wife to David, loving mother to Brayden, beloved daughter of Joane and Warner and daughter-in-law of Jack and Maureen. She found immense joy in her family, always putting their needs above her own and remaining a steadfast source of love and support throughout her life. Her enduring strength and resilience were a testament to her deep love for her family.
As a sister-in-law to Dianne (Mark), Gerard, and Brian (Christine), and an aunt to Ryan (Melissa), Adam (Rebecca), Tara (Chad), Darcy (Drew), Breanne, Keara, and Teagan - Debbie’s warmth and kindness were felt by all who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life. Her generosity of spirit and ever-positive attitude will be remembered by all who had the honour of calling her family.
Throughout her battle with MS, Debbie’s optimism never wavered. Even on the hardest days, she faced each challenge with a smile, lifting others around her with her positivity. Her witty sense of humour was a constant source of light, and she had a remarkable ability to make others laugh, even in the toughest of times. Her strength and courage were a beacon of hope for those who loved her.
Though she is no longer with us, Debbie’s legacy of love, strength, and positivity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers to please donate to the MS Society of Canada.
Per Debbie’s wishes, there will be no formal service. The family appreciates your support and understanding during this time.
